Rainbow To The Games

I went past the Olympic Park last night on a train, at sunset – do click on the link for some stunning photos. The sky was a magical backdrop of pink and orange behind the stadium, and the lights were on. The Olympic Torch is on its way around the UK, and there is excitement in the air as both the Jubilee weekend and the Games draw near.

The final Olympic Mascots film is now available for all to see on YouTube and Vimeo, directed by Mario Cavalli, with a screenplay by Michael Morpurgo narrated by Stephen Fry, and a fantastic soundtrack by Thomas Hewitt Jones performed by a studio orchestra conducted by Barnaby Smith, plus two session percussionists, bagpipers, the mellifluous tones of Voces8 – and I’m proud to be playing the piano as a part of it. Enjoy!
